DENVER, CO –September 14, 2006 – The T3 Universal Handheld
Controller from Remote Technologies, Inc., (RTI) has won the coveted Excite
Award as the Most Exciting Remote Control for 2006. The award is sponsored by
Custom Retailer Magazine in recognition of innovation, design, and manufacturing
achievement. This year dealers were asked to nominate their favorite products,
which allowed winners to be chosen directly from those who use them the most.
The T3 Universal Handheld Controller represents the finest technology currently
available from RTI, the innovator in home entertainment control technology.
“We are extremely honored to have received the Excite Award this year from
Custom Retailer,” said Pete Baker, vice president of sales and marketing for
RTI. “Our team of designers worked tirelessly to create the ultimate in handheld
controllers, and it is gratifying to have that effort recognized by one of the
premier publications in the industry through what our dealers have shared about
the product.”

operation. On its own, the T3 is the most user-friendly universal remote control
on the market today. Combined with the other RTI TheaterTouch™ products, the T3
becomes a robust commercial-quality control system.
The T3 takes complete control of the home theater, replacing all other
remotes. It features a bright, high-contrast TFT LCD that can display custom
buttons, text, graphics and animations. In addition to the backlit display,
there are 16 hard buttons which allow easy access to frequency-used functions. -
